urban bridal photoshoot: salt lake city

As a photographer, one of the most exciting things is collaborating with other photographers to create something beautiful together. Recently, my friend Shannon Ferrell and I had the pleasure of hosting a styled shoot in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, featuring our model, Kylee Waters, and her husband.

Kylee is the owner of Raw Golden Dress Rentals, based in Sandy, Utah. She brought some stunning dresses for the shoot, and we couldn't have been happier with the way they looked on our model.

We had three other photographers join us for this downtown bridal-styled shoot, and it was a blast working with them to create some truly unique and beautiful images. We mainly stayed in the areas near The Exchange Place, which provided a stunning backdrop for our shoot.

For this shoot, I mainly used my 70mm lens and a light nylon sock over my lens to achieve a cinematic film look. I was thrilled with the results, and it added an extra touch of magic to the images.

One of the things I love most about styled shoots is the opportunity to collaborate with other photographers and bounce ideas off each other. It's always amazing to see the different perspectives and styles that come together to create something truly unique.
