California has the
best light
in the world.
California Elopement Photographer + Filmmaker
We're here for all of it — fog-draped cliffs, vineyard golden hour, redwood ceremonies, Yosemite at dawn. West Coast travel is built into our pricing.
CALIFORNIA WEDDINGS
From the fog-draped cliffs
of Big Sur to golden hour
in Yosemite Valley.
California is the kind of place that makes every frame look like it was always meant to exist.
Whether you're eloping on a Big Sur clifftop at sunrise or celebrating a full wedding day in the Bay Area, as a California Elopement Photographer, I bring the same editorial eye to every moment.
My team and I document California weddings and elopements across the state — coastal, mountain, vineyard, city — with the patience to wait for the light to do its work.

THE APPROACH
West Coast is
home base.
California travel is built into pricing — no extra fees, no surprises. I know which cliffs catch fog in the morning and which valleys turn gold at 6 p.m. I know the Yosemite permit process, the Big Sur tide schedules, and exactly where to stand when the light does something extraordinary.
Whether you're planning an intimate elopement for two or a full wedding with everyone you love, the approach is the same: cinematic, editorial, and built to last. Photo and film as one team, one vision — nothing missed.
California doesn’t need help being beautiful. It needs someone who knows how to be ready when it is.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions about a California wedding or elopement
-
Yes — and it's worth doing right. Yosemite requires a permit for any ceremony or photography session in the park. The process is manageable, but timing matters. I help all my California couples navigate permits as part of the planning process, so you're not figuring it out alone.
-
Honest answer: it depends on what you're after. Big Sur is for couples who want drama — fog, cliffs, wildflowers, the Pacific crashing below. Yosemite is for couples who want scale — Half Dome at sunrise, granite and sky. Point Reyes is quieter, more intimate. Carmel and Point Lobos have a soft, golden quality that photographs beautifully. I'll help you find the one that feels like yours.
-
Yes, with caveats. Summer is clearest but crowded. Spring brings wildflowers and moody fog — my favorite. Winter can be dramatic and completely empty. The one thing to plan around is Highway 1 closures, which happen occasionally. I keep tabs on conditions and always have a backup plan.
-
Everywhere. West Coast travel is built into our pricing — no extra fees, no surprises. San Diego to the Oregon border, the coast to the Sierra Nevada. If it's in California, we're there.
-
Always. Photo and film are one team with one creative vision — your gallery and your film share the same light, the same moments, the same story. No competing angles, nothing missed. Most couples find that having both makes the day feel more complete, and the film becomes something you return to every anniversary.

Let’s make something worth keeping.
California Elopement
Photographer + Film
We serve couples across California — Big Sur, the Bay Area, Napa Valley, Monterey, Santa Cruz, and beyond. Our approach is cinematic and editorial, rooted in the belief that wedding photography should live on your wall and in your chest long after the day is over.
Whether you're eloping on a Big Sur clifftop at sunrise, celebrating in a Napa vineyard at golden hour, or hosting a full wedding day in the Bay Area, we're available to document it fully — photo, film, or both.
