Elegant Red Butte Garden Wedding with Orangerie Brunch
On a sun-drenched July morning, Lauren and Isaac celebrated their Red Butte Garden wedding with floral serenity and mountain views all around. They said “I do” in the heart of the Fragrance Garden before heading into the Orangerie for brunch—with waffles, of course. This Salt Lake City venue gave them the best of both worlds: lush outdoor ceremony space and a modern greenhouse glow. From the soft veil light to their private first dance on the patio, their day was effortless, intentional, and warm in every way.
A Garden Ceremony That Felt Like a Deep Breath
By 9:45 a.m., guests were seated beneath an arch of overhead vines and soft morning light. The Fragrance Garden was alive with color—white chairs tucked between vibrant blooms, mountain air drifting gently through the trees. It felt peaceful and sacred, like the world had paused for just this.
Lauren walked out in her veil, the kind that catches light in the prettiest way. Isaac teared up. Their vows were quiet, but carried weight. When they kissed, the sun hit just right.
Golf Cart Portraits + Floral Magic
After the ceremony, we gathered the wedding party for a few quick photos before Lauren and Isaac hopped onto a garden golf cart—yes, seriously. Red Butte’s grounds are huge, and we wanted to explore it all. Summer was in full bloom, and the couple’s green, white, and black color palette complimented every inch of it.
From secret flower-lined paths to wide-open sun-drenched gardens, their portraits feel like stills from a vintage romance movie. No rush, no crowd—just little pockets of time together.
Waffles + Wildflowers: The Orangerie Brunch
Guests transitioned from the ceremony to the Orangerie, Red Butte’s greenhouse-style event space with floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Inside, brunch was served (yes, there was a waffle bar), and guests mingled under streaming light and hanging greenery. The room was filled with that late-morning joy only good coffee, fresh fruit, and big love can bring.
At around 1:00 p.m., Lauren and Isaac shared a private first dance on the Orangerie patio. Just the two of them, spinning barefoot in the breeze. It was one of those moments you wish you could bottle.
Before departing, they slipped away quietly and signed their marriage certificate tucked in a quiet corner of the Orangerie—no big show, no timeline stress, just each other.
Tiburon Dinner & Golden-Hour Glow
The celebration continued that evening at Tiburon in Sandy, where the couple hosted a more intimate dinner party. Guests arrived to shrimp cocktails, a cheese platter, and glowing conversation on the patio. As the sun set, they gathered inside for dinner and toasts before transitioning into a laid-back dance floor moment full of hugs, laughter, and the kind of love that lingers in the air.
Planning a Red Butte Garden Wedding?
This venue is a dream for couples who want something nature-soaked, but modern. A Red Butte Garden wedding gives you everything in one place: breathtaking gardens, a bright indoor reception option, and portraits that look like they belong in an editorial magazine.
